Mr Soy Boy

Started off good, the waitress was friendly and good service. Food took way too long an hour and twenty minutes wait. We were left waiting while a huge group of people that arrived after us were served with food before us. There was arguing in the kitchen and bowl was thrown at one of the chefs by what looked like the owner. The waitress was nice enough to give us our drinks on the house. Will not be returning. Food was small for the price and average quality. Terrible satay sauce. Recommending not to dine here.

Went to Mr Soy Boy last night for the first time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Looked very clean with the kitchen visible. Food was delicious with enough variety for our kids as well. Highly recommend and will be backud83dude00

Really loved the satay roti - so delicious and crispy. The fried tofu was alright too but we expected it to be fried and crispy not in a lot of sauce and soft given the description on the menu - the sauce was yummy though. The other dishes were decent. The service is also very lovely albeit they are a bit understaffed which may be due to COVID-19 so I can empathize during this time. As a result we did wait a really long time for all our food to come out.

Punching well above its weight class, this unpresumptuous venue provides bold, flavourful fair at a reasonable price. Freshly prepared and attentive wait staff make up for it's dowdy exterior and quirky name. As the T800 Model 101 said... I'll be back!
