I regularly shop here for all groceries including meat. Went on Wednesday 12th May. Was checking out the prices of meat and was shocked to see 1kg of regular beef mince at $12. Was going to buy two packs. But $24 for 2kg of beef mince seemed over the top to me. Went to a bulk meats butcher down the road and got better quality for $10 kg, economy bacon for $6.50 1kg instead of $9 kg at Coles. Will still buy groceries there but my meat spend is now going to a local company who offer better quality and cheaper prices.
100% better than Edmonton. Service is good. Selection and price good too.

I was nearly finished my do it yourself grocery packing when the machine jammed. I called over the Coles employee. After wasting 10 minutes the Coles guy said he couldn't fix the machine and I would have to start again at another machine. I said you should give me the groceries for free. He shrugged his shoulders and walked away.nNow I have a really bad back and hip. There was no way I was bending over to redo the scan so I promptly walked out leaving the pile of groceries in the trolley.nIt would have cost Coles more to put the groceries away than to give me $60 of groceries. Not happy Jan.
