Andersons Curtains & Blinds

An easy stress free process. Debbie has excellent product knowledge and knows what suits the windows and doors. Curtains and blinds are excellent quality and look great. Excellent handyman also who did the fitting. Thanks Andersons very much.

Stunning fabrics and friendly ladies, however we had several issues. Nobody turned up for set time for measure and quote. I rang and was told thank goodness as they had lost my number. The quote was handwritten and difficult to understand, which meant that I did not read it well enough to pick up the errors. I was asked for a 50% deposit, although the later paperwork asked for one third. I was told they would take about three weeks, four with the Easter holidays. They took 2 months. One curtain was the wrong colour. Instead of a few days to replace it took a further 3 weeks. I had to continually call to chase up dates for both installations. The high windows ended up with short curtains, even though I wanted full length so no light could get in under them and they could be used to frame the bed head if desired. Some of the curtains side by side are slightly different lengths, with one on the floor and the other just touching. The appropriate brackets and number of screws were not provided to the installer, or he had not enough stock. Either way, there were 3 visits to install and 2 trips for supplies on two of those 3 occasions. He was also provided with silver hooks. I was not consulted about them but would have chosen gold to match the beige wall colour and copper and beige tiles. I was also promised the offcuts from the curtains, which I presumed I paid for in the price of the material, but they were not forthcoming. For the hefty price I paid, I feel as though I was taken advantage of in this transaction.

The ladies at Anderson’s are the best in town, they know their stuff and quality is second to none!
