What a waste of time. Customer service (checkouts) was woeful earlier today. The store has fenced off their express checkouts and you now use a different checkout with a limit of 12 items. However the checkout operator wasn't enforcing this and there was a long line of customers behind those with full trolleys, who were still being served through this checkout. This checkout was next to the service desk and selling the cigarettes as well, and which seemed the main focus. (A few weeks ago when using that checkout, I was advised it was a 12 item limit, even though no none else was waiting)..nnAlthough there were a lot of people waiting, there seemed to be no attempt to ease the queues of people waiting to check out.nnI mentioned this to the operator about the checkouts and was told it was better this way. I presume that means for Coles, not the customer.nnYes, I know you have 12 self-service checkouts. No, I will not use them.nnI thought seriously about walking out and going next door to Woolworths. They still have express checkouts and the staff are very friendly.

Easy to navigate store. Neat and tidy. Friendly staff. Great variety of products, found everything I needed. Best bit is it's location, so close to the Wynnum central train station.

Nice Coles that is not tucked away inside a shopping centre, easy access and a car park with sunsails, good fresh produce and busy for a fast turnover
