A decent substitute for Yuen’s Market if you’re looking for Asian produce. Obviously a much smaller variety of items. Cashiers are usually tired-looking, service is average on a good day.
Shop is disorganised and untidy. Range and selection of goods just average. Needs a new face lift definately !
Fish shop is now closed. A few fresh veggies. Good frozen and shelf selections.
When this Supermarket initially opened it was beautifully clean and tidy, now they've let themselves go. They have closed the seafood section which is now full of boxes, the store itself is messy and dirty. Disappointing for a store that once was quite good.
One star only. The sullen rude staff need a lesson in manners concerning their attitude towards customers. On asking the price of an unpriced item one of these surly women at the checkout just snapped the price at me followed by a snarky look, as thought I had no right to ask. At the checkout not even a cursory hello or good bye is forthcoming from these rude women, and my change was simply thrown on the counter. That was my last visit ever to this store. I will take my business when purchasing Asian groceries elsewhere in future, where I'm treated like a customer, and not an annoyance.
