Thoroughly enjoyed my time with Encara. Commenced as a new graduate and was provided with plenty of opportunity to advance my career and develop my skills. Always felt supported by management and scheduling team and able to approach regarding questions, feedback or concerns. Willing to meet halfway.nnWhile not always perfect, the team was always looking for feedback and ways to improve, provide a more effective service and better support staff.nnStrong focus on quality and consistency of service across the board. More work still to be done to increase or facilitate support to regional staff but this is always improving.nnGreat team.

I thoroughly enjoyed my employment with Encara for almost two years. The team at Head Office, and the therapists on site were always a pleasure to work with. The Directors truly value their employees and clients while always aiming to provide quality care for residents in the community, and living in aged care. The working arrangements are very flexible which promotes great work-life balance. Would highly recommend Encara to any therapist with a passion for working with the elderly and support staff looking to work in an evolving and exciting industry.

Red Flag.... If you value your registration look elsewhere. Dismal pay with nil support.nRun buy management with limited clinical and managerial knowledge.nManagers running other managers down to clinicans .nAlways short staffed due to poor reputation within the industry and Physiotherapists resigning on a daily basis.nMuch better and safer options available....nAVOID at all cost

Thoroughly enjoyed my two years at Encara and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to work in aged care.nnAs an Occupational Therapist Encara gave me wonderful opportunities to expand my skills including consultancy, community based work and management opportunities.nnEncara strongly supported me in advocating the wonderful services that Occupational Therapists can provide in aged care. The organisation also supported me to assist in developing an Occupational Therapy positive culture both in the workplace and within the organisation.nnEncara provided me with great work flexibility which allowed me to have a great work life balance. Encara also supported me by allowing me to relocate. Encara has a positive culture and includes regular regional social events.nnEncara management are always looking to improve the services they provide and better support their staff. They have always been open to my feedback and have actioned it appropriately.nnI am thoroughly greatfull for the opportunities that Encara have provided me.
