Amazing service over 4 years. They are impartial and make the process of justice streamlined and transparent. They are not given enough credit. Trades often discredit them because they are kept in check by this regulator but please read between the lines. Applause!

My bathroom was done terribly by a builder, whose licence was already cancelled and used another guy's licence with the same first name. After we asked him to fix all the defects, including water proofing, he disappeared.nThanks for QBCC, after one year of waiting my bathroom is now beautiful and comfortable to use. And the doggy builder will pay for the rectification bill. Justice must be served, thought time-consuming.

Shoutout to Caitlin and a couple others. Customer service was awesome, answered all of my boring and stupid questions. Can be on hold a while but they will defintley call you back within the day.

We have called QBCC twice to find out options and our rights with a dodgy builder job we had done for our retaining wall.nAs r this stage we haven't decided to progress to a complaint although we are still considering it. The staff we have dealt with have been very helpful, explained where QBCC fits, what they can help with and what options we have.nnThis has helped us as we learner our builder breached their licence obligation to submit any variation works tonus in writing, in our case they just charged us an extra $6.5k without any discussion or mention of variation works taking place.

QBCC is the biggest bunch of bureaucrats with no sympathy or business practicality, they are making our small body corporate pay many thousands of dollars to get a fire engineer out to assess our building because they changed the policy AFTER all of our forms were resubmitted and an engineer already said on our reports that our building was safe. No one understands how to work with you and your commission has absolutely no consideration on the impacts your legislation changes have on home owners and are happy to just change legislation and send bills out to home owners with no regards to the impacts.
