A great place to find beautiful gifts, as well as treats for yourself, Stem has been an institution in the Graceville area for over 10 years. Jen and her team provide warm, friendly service and go out of their way to assist. They have a wonderful range of fashion, jewellery and homewares to suit a wide range of tastes.
This was a favourite shop for both my mother and I until an unpleasant incident the last time we visited.nOn entering the shop I noticed a scented candle that interested me on a shelf just above my eye level. I picked the candle up to smell the scent and by the time I brought it down towards my face it was too late to realise that the candle was alight and not just a stock item. Hot liquid wax spilt down my blouse and all over my hand.nI brought this to the attention of both staff members and was shocked to be treated dismissively with the comments “ nobody else smells candles and why would you touch a lit candle?”nTheir attitude has lost Stem two regular customers.
