Other reviews were right, bit more expensive than you'd think, but it's good quality food. Only went there to get a plum wine, and got a few extra things to try.nnThe fresh buns are at the front, would recommend, they are super yum. The chocolate ice-cream mochi is the best I've had, not super sweet and the mochi doesn't try to choke you.nnThe tofu is pretty pricey.nnI'll probably be back for some more of that ice-cream and buns.

Great place with such a good variety of Japanese and Asian delights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely must visit!

Great store, was looking for bonito flakes which no other Asian stores stock, and they not only had a standard packets of it but also a huge bulk pack in stock for a decent price. Will definitely go back for my sushi and ramen supplies. If you’re after Japanese products this place is worth travelling to, don’t bother looking in other Asian stores, because most supermarkets stock a better variety of Japanese products than a generic Asian store. If you need something like kombu or bonito or something specific to Japan, this is the place to go. The shopping center it’s in is a bit bogan, but that’s really just character and nothing to worry about. Parking is good for the city location, and service is great.
