Great pharmacy in a nice easy location. Staff are always professional and friendly when I have been there.

Deleted my previous reviews about this chemist.Initially I had the odd occasion where things kinda didn't seem to go accordingly.However the staff are very helpful and at times have gone out of there way for me.Very professional pharmacy with very nice staff.

I don't know what has changed but my friend and house mate had their scripts there for ages and was regularly getting them as needed.. it was a service that was offered to him by the chemist and seemed to work well for a while. His medication is staggered so by the prescribing doctors orders he has to get it weekly, not something he loves but has to do as it is pertinent to both his mental and physical health. This went well for a while then all of a sudden he was told it was an extra $7 each time he has to collect his medication.. ON TOP of the cost of the medication. He explained he is on NDIS and benefits and was told 'too bad, management changes'.. he then wrote a letter of complaint explaining his situation and if it could be waived for him as that extra $7 is a lot especially on an already tight budget. He had no response from that letter, was so anxious he couldn't go get his medication because on another occasion he was rudely questioned why he had to get his medication weekly and told by the chemist worker/pharmacist he should just ask his doctor to change it. Who the hell thinks it is their business as to why or how someone's medication is dispensed.. it is not your job to question what a psychiatrist is doing. Your treatment of customers is disgusting and your lack of care is abhorrent. It took nearly a week for you to release his script to Terry White chemist in Lutwyche who won't charge him on top of the cost of medication - and even then you were 'too busy' to organise it over the week so he had to come in and collect it.. at which time you promptly charged $7 to dispense his medication on top of that.. to someone who was already struggling as you held his scripts for a week and he therefore hadn't had his medication for that long. SHAME ON YOU. Suffice to say my whole household is taking our business elsewhere and I will be telling everyone i know to do the same.

Counter staff were rude and having obnoxious chit-chat instead of working. Quite an unprofessional look. My medication was a couple of dollars more than it has been at any other chemist...

If I could give 0/5 star, I would have. I went in with a very personal problem on the 27th of Jan 2018. I asked the lady that was a chemist worker and not the pharmacist for a certain product. She didn't know what I was after and then asked if I was after a certain product which I didn't know the name of the product and then the Pharmacist was called over and he got exactly what I needed but then I said to him to stop explaining the instruction and to just put it in the bag and let me pay and get out. The assistant then as I was walking out said have a nice day. She has clearly never been in the situation where I needed to get my product and then leave as it was embarrassing enough with out having to be felt or made like I was nothing. Her professional was below zero. If I wasn't so anxious and venerable at the time I would have given her a piece of my mind but I wanted to get what I needed and get out. I was in the shop around just before closing time. If anyone that is in a position of authority that reads this. You should be retraining your staff and how they handle customers personal issues. Her behaviour was completely unacceptable. I will never give my business here again and for those of you that need a personal touch to your sensitive needs when needing something...DO NOT COME HERE.
