I have lived in Australia for 23 years and the first clouple of years it was horrific to deal with the German Consulate. But that has changed now! A staff change has made a massive difference. I feel like the consulate is now my ally, not my enemy. The instructions on the website and emails were very clear regarding exactly what documentation is necessary. Once there, Claudia and her team were extremely helpful and friendly, making the entire process a delight. Look forward to my next visit.
