I mistakenly when to Bunnings first, and even bought a two part garage Epoxy kit only to find out later that Bunnings had no stock or knowledge of a Polyurethane clear coat I could finish the job off with a professional finish.nI got on line and then started phoning around , Dulux Paint Centre was helpful but pricing for 4lts was more than I eventually got 10Lts for. Next I called Wattyl Paint Centre, the helpful guy there said they could not help, but said when he did his own garage floor he used Paint City and a great product they had supplied.nI gave them a call and was quickly told that they had now opened Concrete & Flooring Solutions , I spoke to Lachlan who didn’t trash Bunnings or the product I bought from them but concentrated on giving me the best solution for my situation.nWhen I arrived parking was easy and I found Lachlan helping a Tradie with a concrete grinding solution, offering him a hire solution instead of buying an attachment for an old grinder that was not really suitable for the job.nI met Lachlan, I said I had phoned earlier about Polyurethane to go over a loose flake finish, remembering the call he replied you must be Tim and took me to the finish samples outside with the product we had discussed used to seal them.nHe was attentive & his knowledge was extensive and was only given after listening. I had a moan that I couldn’t find “Spikes” anywhere on line except in China, he walked a few metres and picked up a box of Spike sandals off the shelf for $20,that was less than I could get them from China!nI ended up getting 10lts SV63 Flakeguard HS two part polyurethane (8lt part A & 2lt part B) which easily covered a double garage with two coats, Spiked sandals and a 5lt measuring jug.nFrom the service level, the extent of knowledge and price I do not hesitate to highly recommend Lachlan and Concrete & Flooring Solutions to the DIY enthusiast or the full on Trades person.nMy only regret is I didn’t find them earlier.

Lauchlan is the most patient, knowledgeable and helpful person I think I have every come across in all my projects. Whilst they probably deal mostly with trade, DIY-ers are welcome and Lauchlan shares his product knowledge and know-how freely and in a way that I felt no question was too simple. He takes the time to explain, understand the job and recommend the products and techniques that best suit the situation. I cannot recommend this business more highly and of all the possible choices on the Sunshine Coast to get concrete colouring, sealing and finishing supplies and equipment, definitely stop here first and experience first hand the difference the great staff make.
