Snake Pit Muay Thai

Been going to this gym for three now, and got to say that this place is AWESOME!nnIf you're the sort of person that finds gyms to be generally difficult places full of buff poser dudes kissing their biceps in the floor to ceiling mirrors, then Snake Pit is the total opposite of that! There's not a single mirror in the place, and the coaches have set up a great vibe where people don't have to prove anything to anyone other than themselves. It's a small, family feel place where you are welcomed and people actually interact with you, inspire you and help you to just improve your general fitness.nnI typically hate gyms. Whenever I joined one I'd stop going after 5 weeks because of the afore-mentioned vanity posers becoming unbearable. I've been at Snake Pit THREE years now and have lost 20kgs, in my own time and at my own pace, and kept it off. I've had nothing but encouragement and support from the coaches and other members.nnThey work around my difficult schedule and nothing has been too much trouble for them.nnI strongly recommend you give Snake Pit a trial month. Yeah it's a Muay Thai gym, but you don't have to be a Muay Thai fighter to go. You'll learn some moves in between your workouts, and it will be the most fun you've probably ever had while getting fit. You might be like me and just end up staying for the benefits of a gym without all the vanity.
