Arafura Medical Clinics

The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. I was in need of a repair job to my leg and they fixed me up very quickly and at no cost to me. Thanks to Trudy, Heidi and Sam at the clinic.

I live in the rural area of Darwin River for 11 years and have thought it great to have a medical centre close to our area. I have been to the clinic twice and have found all staff friendly and courteous, waiting times minimal and the doctor friendly. I will visit this establishment each time when needed.

I have lived out in Berry Springs for 25 years and agree that it is very handy to have a medical clinic located in this area. When I called to make an appointment, asked if the services were bulk billed and was informed over the phone that the services were. When I arrived at the Berry Springs medical clinic, feeling very sick there was a registered nurse called Lucy who was very rude. I only asked Lucy if the services were definitely bulk billed as this was the first time I had attended the clinic and have been previously stuffed around by other people with incorrect information given to me so I just wanted to confirm before seeing a doctor. Lucy kept pulling a face at me which lasted 5 mins and rolling her eyes and whispered to her colleague at the front desk about me in front of me because of asking that question which did not deserve this sort of rudeness. It turns out this RN is from QLD and is supposed to be a Christian. I wanted to leave but was feeling very sick so I stayed. Waiting time was 5 mins and then a very friendly doctor gave me the relevant medical treatment. Aside from the rude RN the doctor was worth seeing and would recommend him to people in the Berry Springs community.
