This mechanic threatened to hit me with a car battery if he saw me personally. This was after I complained and requested a refund for the faulty battery he supplied and installed on my son’s car. The battery failed within 10 months, had no indication of warranty, and had wrong sizes terminals. He told me he was going to have a look at it but never turned up. He was blaming the manufacturer and insisted I go with him to his supplier to make my complaint. I reported this incident to police. Great at upselling his business but actually very expensive compared to other mechanics and auto electricians I have dealt with in Darwin for 26 years. I don’t mind paying extra for quality work but this battery issue and the threatening behavior is a complete let down for me. My son only wanted the battery to be tested but was asked to leave his car for couple of hours that ended up half a day, only to be supplied with a substandard car battery. I don’t recommend this mechanic to anyone.

He told me to come on Monday on the phone and never showed up and saying that he doesn’t know about my booking. I’m pretty sure The good reviews on this mechanic are left by his family and friends so don’t trust these good reviews. I don’t want anyone else to experience this

Made a booking and no one was there. Spent an hour waiting and not answering phone call, no return call. Totally disappointed and wasted my time. The worst mechanic I’ve ever seen
