Haven Backpacker Resort

The hostel is good for the price. I didn't use the pool but probably should have with how warm it is in Alice Springs. The rooms were nice and the AC was good just make sure you watch it since it is on a timer to automatically turn off after a certain amount of time. Probably the best option with this hostel is they start serving breakfast at 4:30am since many people staying there have early your departures. Overall, an excellent budget option for your stay in Alice Springs.

Facilities are fine, location is a bit out from the core downtown if you want to be close to those things. Was booked here as part of a multi day tour that had a stop in Alice Springs. Ended up booking a night for after my tour as well. Customer service at reception/the bar was always superb (truly service with a smile) - check in was super quick after being dropped off from the first portion of my tour, and it was just as quick when I did a last minute booking the same day online. And most importantly, it was always speedy to get another beer.

Nice staff. They clean up public area pretty often. Good price for a bed which is very comfy. And good price for beer. Breakfast was good.

Very nice place to stay, comfortable beds and nice rooms with bathroom! The staff is very very friendly and helpful! The free breakfast is good and the pool is very nice on hot days! Good place to meet new people! When I come a second time to Alice Springs, I would definitely choose this hostel. :)

Not expensive. Friendly staff. Nice big rooms. Small changes could make a big difference. It would be good to remove the rubbish from the back yard. Bedside lights would be nice. Wobbly plumbing could be easily fixed. However overall it's good value.
