Darwin FreeSpirit Resort

Everything was good except the main pool is basically open to the public so very crowded.

Stayed in a Resort cabin , which was just painted we had a late arrival so we could not ask admin for another cabin so slept in a very smelly freshly painted cabin. Could do with some new cookware had 1 very old small frypan and 1 very old small pot,range hoods not working told admin about it, did not know what I was taking about, no can opener and 1 teaspoon . The property is open to all walk ins off the street or from anywhere. they use all the facilities for free and that we pay to use!! I would not recommend this resort.

The freespirit resort is a spacious, shady park with great facilities, a bar and bistro, entertainment and swimming pools. The staff here are helpful and pleasant. Thanks for a lovely, relaxing break, great food and service! Highly recommended

Nice, relaxing pool and bistro, food was yummy, would be better if the pool had more shade however!

Would give less than 1 star if possible. I booked this room for a visiting staff member, and decided on Free Spirit because I had stayed there several years ago and it was quite nice...not any more, it is beyond shabby, and 3 of the 4 reception staff I spoke to were somewhere between useless and rude. Do not recommend.
