Frying Nemo Fish and Chips

Amazing food, staff & location. We had such a lovely time here. The only possible negative was the wait for the food was slightly longer than you would expect from a fish & chip restaurant, however it is completely worth the wait, and this is definitely not a typical fish & chip restaurant. Would also recommend getting the rustic chips. We will be back :)

Such a fantastic place!! I'm from Melbourne and went to Darwin for a holiday 2 weeks ago, and we were amazed on how delicious the fish was. A beautiful view of the ocean makes the experience even more better. I had a good chat with this bloke working their who I assume was the owner, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this place. Amazing!!!

Excellent service. Beautiful food. We had grilled snapper crimson & grilled jewfish, coffin bay oysters, tiger prawn spring rolls, scallops, potato cakes, chips & garden salad. Fish was so fresh & so tasty just with Lemon. Coffin bay oysters are the best. Such a relaxed & lovely setting at Tipperary Water. So low key & away from dingy mitchell st. Very good fish and chips with a great range of local caught fish and shellfish on offer. Expect to wait a little while to be served as this place can br very busy. Good range of beer and wine to enjoy at the pretty marina setting while you wait though.

Tried the NT Wild Caught fresh Jewish with sweet potato fries. Both were exceptional. Host is really friendly and the Asahi tap beer cold.
