Royal Darwin Hospital

I have just spent 6 days in hospital after emergency stomach surgery. Your ward staff are amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were always there when needed. So nurses in ward 2a well done. Thanks for looking after me.

Lastnight I was transferred from Palmerston hospital to the Royal Darwin, to the surgical team. The nurses & doctors were all fantastic, very busy two beds in most of the bays. Then I was escorted to the Private hospital.This morning I walked up the corridor to the Royal Darwin to purchase a magazine as the shop at the private is not open on Sunday. When I returned to the corridor, Jan the nurse who was in triage. Told me I had to walk right around, it was quite hot & a long walk whilst not feeling well.where's compassion & care.

It’s a good hospital. We were seen straight away and had the nurses and doctors constantly checking up on my son. They always kept us informed and up to date with what was happening.nWell done paediatric doctor Adam and nurse Eamon.

Absolutely disappointed and disgusted with the Service I’ve received at darwin hospital.nChantry was the person who saw me when I checked into the ednI am in so much pain and when asked when the doctor would see me. my heat rate was up as I am a heart patient, my sugar was spiking. She raised her voice and asked me to leave the hospital. My scalp ear and everything is hurting. And that is how they look after the patients herennAbsolutely disgusting

Terrible staff at this hospital. Triage nurse that saw me when I was brought into the ED by ambulance refused to follow the paramedics advice in regards to how quickly I needed to see a doctor. I was left bleeding out from a severed artery in my head for hours because of the triage nurse's incompetence. When I was finally seen by a doctor in the ED, she used a homophobic slur while treating me. Terrible place, the experience I had at this hospital was inhuman.
