Jake Mitra ruined my bottom front teeth. I was unfortunately referred to see him by my usual dentist at the practice. Without my consent Jake decided to file my teeth and that so excessively resulting in permanent damage which he does not have to live with. Jake filed my teeth despite the fact they were already narrow. My teeth also did not need to have been filed as part of the treatment, yet due to Jake's unhealthy obsession with straight teeth he filed my teeth even though I never asked for them to be straightened and significantly altered the shape of one of my teeth by making it straight as it had previously been wider on top even though that is how I liked it. This resulted in a very narrow tooth and a wide gap between my bottom front teeth making my teeth look unaesthetic which defeated the reason I saw him in the first place. This has also resulted in a loss of resistance when I floss. Jake's reply to my complaint was 'now it will be easier for you to floss.' It is common dental knowledge that there has to be resistance between teeth for effective flossing, which just shows Jake is an incompetent dentist. Whilst aggressively filing my teeth he also caused my gums to bleed. After filing my teeth, he said in front of the dental technician 'It looks like I took a lot of but I didn't.' Rather than admit the poor outcome of his work on my teeth Jake flippantly brushes my concern aside and insults me by saying 'The issue is you have something wrong in your mind!' If I could sue him I would.
