I stayed at West Leederville private hospital following a procedure last month. The first night I was out of recovery my alarms kept beeping because my blood pressure and oxygen were dropping. Naturally I was very worried about this and asked to speak to nurses several times because I couldn’t fall asleep, worried that something was wrong. The nurse came in a few times and told me I was fine then finally came in and switched off my machine due to the constant alarms and shushed me with her hand and told me, “you’ll be fine, it’s ok”. Then rushed off. I didn’t sleep all night. This was one of a few incidents that occurred during my stay. The standard of care, by the night nurses in particular, was severely lacking. Some of the day nurses were great, but the overall standard was terrible. Also, it was lucky that I had very little appetite because the food was so bad. Microwaved meals and the menu stayed the same every day. For $950 per night to have a shared room, terrible food and night nurses who didn’t seem to care if you were ok is a huge price to pay. Would recommend anyone look elsewhere for a better hospital.

I absolutely can't fault my stay, the hospital has such a warm friendly feeling and all the staff are amazing! The nurses were incredibly caring and fantastic at their job, they made me feel completely comfortable and well looked after. 5 stars from me!

I was pleasantly surprised by how small and wonderful this Hospital was. The hospital itself is on the third floor of the building and parking is right underneath it, which is super convenient. I was impressed from the moment that I walked in and to the moment that I walked out. The quality of care and services from all staff was beyond my expectations. The meals provided was from Miss Mauds Catering. The nursing staff prepares them for you upon request when ever you are hungry as there is no set times for meals. And if you like your coffee, they can whip you up a lovely cappuccino too. I had a pleasant two nights stay because it felt like home care more than anything else.
