Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience here with Mark Davies after years of excellent service with Gary. During a simple clean Mark managed to remove the enamel from the back of 2 of my front lower teeth. When I pointed out my concerns I went back to see Mark and he rounded off the sharp edges that were left around the holes he had created - sharp edges and holes that weren't previously there. When asked about it Mark denied that it happened during the clean, even though he had never seen my teeth before in his life he felt he knew them better than myself. I'd just cleaned and inspected my teeth prior to visit. I was disappointed with the damage to my teeth and requested a refund. I was sent a very angry, arrogant and belittling email in response. While I understand accidents happen, health professionals need to take responsibility for their actions. Mark obviously wasn't paying attention the afternoon this happened and I'm very disappointed with the way I was treated.

The best dental experience I could ever ask for. I went in nervous, anxious and with I foot out the door! But Mark was incredibly gentle, calm, reassuring (and fast!). My root canal was actually pleasant?! It may sound silly but there wasn't even that cringeworthy drill sound. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience!

The team at Silas Street Dental is genuinely friendly on top of being highly competent. Dr Mark Davies is very soft and I'm always getting in and out of the practice with a big smile :)
