Cockburn and Fremantle Orthodontics / Endodontics

Christine is exceptional. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to dental work, and I was particularly afraid to go to an endodontist. I thought for sure I would need to be sedated for the procedure... but Christine explained things to me very clearly, she was gentle and caring, and she made me brave enough to put my trust in her. I went through the appointments without a scratch and without sedation. Will be recommending all my friends and family!

My dentist needed to refer me to an Endodontist and gave me a list of ones to contact. He suggested that even though I would need to wait a bit to see Dr Christine Yu, it would be the best option. I am so glad I listened and waited to get an appointment with Dr Yu. She is a very caring doctor and was so patient and gentle with me. She gave me the best care and was able to successfully treat and save not just the tooth I had been referred for, but also picked up another problem with a separate tooth my dentist had not been aware of. I recommend Dr Yu 100% for both her manner and expertise. She not only looks after her patients but is also a Professor teaching at university. She explained everything well to me and gave me a detailed treatment estimate prior to commencing treatment. I hope I don’t ever require her services again, but if I or any of my friends or family need an endodontist, I will tell them to see Dr Yu!

Only gets one star because I cannot give 0. Every time I tried to explain my symptoms I was not listened to. After every root canal treatment I was only good for 3-4 days max before infection would set in again and my Endodontist did not care. After almost a week of suffering while my Endodontist was on leave I did what reception suggested and saw a dentist. When my Endodontist returned I saw her and she proceeded to tell me off for 20 minutes for letting someone else touch my tooth. She would not believe how much pain I was in and that it was so bad I was in tears in the dentists chair. She denied all my symptoms and told me my face was not swollen despite my GP, my (now late) father, my boss... even blind freddy could see my face was swollen and told me so, but not my Endodontist. I walked out the the final appointment shaking after what I endured. I sat in my car almost in tears and then I realised... my Endodontist was trying to gaslight me. and I look back and every visit I had between treatments she always made sure I knew she was not charging me, she only charged for the treatment appointments. She made me think she was doing me a favour. Now I have gone to a real Endodontist who cares about his patients. I would not even recommend Cockburn/Fremantle Endodontics to my worst enemy, not even I could be so evil as to do that. They are Evil.
