I DO NOT recommend going here if you want a dentist. (This is a long story) I like probably 80% of most people do not like and are scared to go to the dentist. Spent a few years routinely going for braces when i was younger so i know the atmosphere and have been to dentists before. I decided to go to Jupiter as I noticed a brown spot on my tooth towards the front (well seen). It was the sole reason I decided to go to a dentist. Told the dentist I noticed a brown spot at the front so might aswell have an exam. She proceeds to check then says yep you have 2 cavities need 2 fillings and points to where I assume the brown spot and bottom jaw. I didnt get them done then and there because i had no money,no health card, and had plans. lucky i didnt because this brings me to my next appointment. Come in for my two fillings, little child behind the front desk eating chips and sauce - shouldve been a non-professional red flag there. Had the most painful aneasthetic injections into the back of my jaw (i know some say this is normal but would like some clarity and confirmation from dentist why shes doing it this way as i thought injections go where the tooth is youre working on). My jaw was sore and massively bruised for a week after that. Then during the procedure i feel a little pain and she starts getting a little frantic and begins to tell me shes hit the pulp because she didnt realise how deep the decay is, to which i spent hundreds of dollars to have xrays before this procedure so she can see how deep the decay is and know. Even shows me the xrays and says its difficult to see but you can still see the decay and im sorry if you studied years in university you should know this as a professional dentist. But thats not the worst part, i come home and check in the mirror, THE BROWN SPOT IS STILL THERE So that brings me the the appointment i had today. Just a scale and clean. i ask her is the tooth with the brown spot the tooth you previously did a filling on and will it hurt cause you hit the pulp last time when you do your clean today. She checks and lo and behold the brown spot is in fact decay and needs a filling. so now as someone who is scared of needles and dentists i have to go back and get another filling after the awful experience ive had already, and its the same side as the others so couldve had it done altogether. Shes also found a 'mole' on the side that the injections went in so we'll see what that is. It took her the third appointment and me pointing out that my brown spot on a front tooth is decay and needs fillings even though it was the reason i went to the dentist in the first place.
