Foodland Croydon

Nice looking local store and friendly staff. Had an issue with meat which was actually already 2 days past it's "best before" when I bought it. Meat was later replaced. They no longer have their freshness guarantee policy though... That was previous owners. So make sure you check dates before purchasing.

Foodland at Croydon had a complete makeover this year, managing to continue through the Covid restrictions. There is now a large smallgoods section providing seafood, cold meats, cheeses etc. Shelves are generally well stocked and the extensive refrigerated and frozen foods section has so many choices for everyone including shoppers racing in after work, with limited time so they're keen to find a prepared or partially prepared meal. You wil also find a large choice of South Australian produce too. The building could do with a facelift but step inside and Foodland Supermarket has had just that. Support South Australian businesses and shop at Foodland Croydon.

What a fine store where you get the chance to get randomly suspected of theft. At check out girl asked to look into my bag. I said I have never have that happened before, I told her she chose me! She said she has to look in every bag which she clearly doesn't do. I suggested they should look also in the people's bags behind me which they didn't. I think they don't have the right to do that. Is this great customer service? It certainly felt like the opposite and an invasion of privacy and how they handled the situation was rude and condescending!

million dollar renovation Shopped at this supermarket 4 times recently I can't believe its run by the same group as the North Adelaide Foodland Totally ignored today Saturday 25Th April 2020 by the two teenagers running the Deli section Beautiful looking food - didn't get served - there too busy chatting to each other with their back to the public - too busy to attend to paying customers -! The service is non existence Employ some mature personal that need a job and know what customer service is Sack the Manager if there is one!
