No help whatsoever! I applied for my police clearance certificate there 7 weeks ago. After 7 weeks (according to the gentleman in the office, I should get from then) I did not receive anything or was not informed of any current status. After I contacted the office of the Federal Office of Justice in Bonn, they informed me that they had never received an application. The Melbourne office doesn't know where my application is because you chose the easiest and cheapest way. Important applications and documents are not sent with the necessary care and security, no tracking number or the like. To all German citizens who have to send something and need the certification of the Honorary Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Melbourne, Send the necessary document yourself!
