Truly a sight to behold. What can I say - Bufo the toad is everything you’d want in a giant ornamental toad and more. Giant enough to earn a well deserved place in Australia’s list of large things, but subtle enough to exude a bashful, charming energy indicative of the small town it calls home. The accompanying plaque tells the enthralling tale of her volatile, turbulent life. Facing and overcoming diversity adds a sense of vulnerability to Bufo that we can all relate to in these challenging times. “Yuck” says other reviewers, “yum” says this humble reviewer.

Definitely catches the eye when passing, it's a statue of a giant Cane Toad.nAlso a bit of information to accompany it, which I'm always great full for as it gives an insight into the statue and town history.

Is a very good replica of the real thing, your just waiting for it to hop.

Beautiful little town, lovely people, we took a stroll along the beach, the ocean water was warm and beautiful.

Friendly quite atmosphere, easy going and original locals are always welcoming with warm hospitality.
