We popped into Sussex Inlet for a quick look a round and once we walked past this little gem we had to stop.nThe aromas coming from there were to enticing to pass up.nnWe ordered grilled fish & chips were absolutely divine.nnSorry I didn’t get any food photos.nnIt’s a must for lunch

Battered and crumbed hoki was delicious and generous in serving. 3 of us shared medium chips which was plentiful and chips were well cooked. Calamari was delicious too in a different sort of crumb. Not sure if they were rings as such or the calamari was processed to form a ring, but it was tender and delicious all the same. Service was friendly. Prices very reasonable.

Was looking forward to a treat of battered fish whilst on a short break. Incorrectly thought a business that specialises in this would be good. We chose the most expensive fish of snapper at $12 per piece. It was extremely poor. The batter was undercooked and chewy. Not light and crispy as good batter should be. We ended up peeling off the batter. Luckily we had bought a salad at Pilgrims Cafe in Milton at lunchtime or we would have been hungry. Potato scallops were also ordinary and not crispy.nFeeling ripped off :(

Taste pretty good. Price is pretty good but portion size is pretty small.
