Not a good business to deal with as an artist. Four months after the close of my exhibition in the art space they still refuse to refund my bond for no apparent reason. Despite numerous phone calls and emails and promises to deal with the issue nothing to date has been done! Warning to other artists... don't get caught in their trap. They are unprofessional and untrastworthy is my experience.

What a great place to get a feel for the real Eumundi with an honest look at how the settlers made this place home.

The first public building on the site and the first place of worship in Eumundi was the Salvation Army Hall erected in 1893. Over time the congregation grew and soon cramped the small building which was relocated to acreage close to town to make way for new Methodist Church built in 1911. The new church built with contributions from many parishioners was constructed of locally cut and milled timber: crows ash (floor & weatherboards) and pine (walls and ceilings). The building had a number of interesting features – a sloping floor, gas lighting, steel reinforcing, ornate fretwork and hopper style windows. The church has undergone many changes over the years rear vestry was added in 1927 (this became the residence of the local minister) electric light was added in 1941 larger vestibule with leadlight windows was added to the front in the late 1950’s became the Uniting Church in 1972 sold to the Eumundi & District Historical Association and converted to a museum 1996 The original Eumundi Police Cells in Napier Road were relocated in late 2005 with major additions and refurbishment of the museum precinct completed in 2006. Also in 2006 the then Eumundi Museum was combined with the Eumundi Information Office and was rebranded as Discover Eumundi Heritage and Visitor Centre.

We got a lot of useful maps and tourism guides here, and the lady here suggested a lot of places to visit and guided us on how to get there. It has a small museum inside it as well!
