Courage Training Centre

Walking into courage by myself was daunting, but as soon as I did I was greeted with nothing but big smiles and great energy from not only the staff but from all the other people who trained there. Everyone had such a great energy and enjoyed being there which only made me want to be there more. The only thing that matched the energy of the place was the knowledge and experience the Coaches (Ian, Joseph, Steve & Jack) on the in’s and outs of Mixed Martial Arts and strength training. I can easily say that I look forward to rocking up to CTC everyday.

I was an international student in Townsville when I discovered this place. For someone who was never actively involved in sports and foreign to Australia, I had reservations but the coaches at Courage Training Centre were very hospitable and amazing. They helped build my confidence and I genuinely enjoyed my classes with them. I was treated like family and I have watched them support each other on and off training. Even though I already left, I still follow them for their words of wisdom and I cheer for their athletes during their fights. Coach Bone, you're amazing and your team deserves all the success.

Head coach Ian Bone has qualities that are rare in coaching. Real integrity and a genuine interest in every individual despite age or experience, to assist them in being the best version of themselves. If you're in Townsville, you have to give Courage a try!

Great gym with excellent values and principles. All the coaches are very knowledgeable across all martial arts, also very clean and hygienic and provides great equipment to train with.nnLooking forward to visiting again!

What a fantastic place!! Everyone is keen to see you improve, coaches are motivating, and more than happy to help with not only the physical aspects, but keeping you in the right mindset.
