She was nice but did not give us the guidance or assurance or motivation to keep going into our renovation plans. We obviously needed her help but it felt like a complete waste of $200+ she charged an hour. Only giving her two stars because she was nice.

Jennie is exceptionally knowledgeable and honest. She does not impose her own style upon you, but works to gain a thorough understanding of your taste, budget and the look you wish to achieve. She has a fantastic sense of creativity and flair, and will work exceptionally hard to ensure that she sources the perfect pieces, fabrics and finishes to complete your design. Furthermore, I have recently discovered that in addition to her interior design service Jennie & Wally can also supply custom blinds, shutters, curtains, pieces of furniture and lampshades! Thank you so much for your help Jennie - I can't recommend your services highly enough.

It was great catching up with Jennie and Wally Tomlinson from Lanes Interiors recently. Together they make a great team and complement each other completely. Jen is artistic, while Wal does the measuring and installation. I’ve sought their expertise several times over the years, when I have needed advice on colour, fabric and design. Once given the brief Jen goes to work immediately and comes up with different options to suit your taste, budget and lifestyle. She is very talented with colour, so making a choice can be difficult. In the end I have never been disappointed with any choice, because they would have all worked. Years on, I still love my fabrics, blinds and curtains and they still look great. This may also be due to the quality of the fabrics and the extra details which make them special.nOverall, I think that it is a testimonial to Lanes Interiors. Well done, Jennie and Wally.

As a Mere Male I needed help! to bring my lounge and living rooms to life.nnFresh back from Asia will a collection of Art, antiques, Oriental furniture and reproductions I was clueless.nnMy plan of attack was to scour countless magazines and an assortment of interiors books but months later I was none the wiser.nnFortunately I saw an ad for Lanes Interiors and arranged a consultation with Jennie and Walter Tomlinson.nnDrum roll -nnThe transformation has exceeded my expectations and pulled my eclectic pieces together to create just the feel I wanted - a cosy Oriental ambience. (Sadly the attached photo doesn't do it justice.)nnVisitors to my home comment on how well the room works. Of note, the texture of the glazed finish on Porters Green Tea paint suggested by Jennie makes all the difference.nnIt's been a pleasure working with Jenny and Walter and to have had my eyes opened to a realm of creative possibilities.nnI couldn't recommend their services more highly.nnBill F Highfields.
