Low Cost Roofing

Be very aware! Were paid to fix 2 leaks in my sisters roof at Aspley in Brisbane, she now has about 10 extra leaks. Bill the owner recommended repointing and capping to be done to fix the issue.(keep in mind this was HIS recommendation on fixing the leaks) there was no mention of any other problems with the roof at the time. The first time it rained after having the work done it leaked in several new spots and has progressively gotten worse every time they’ve been back to look at it and have done nothing extra on it. I had to get involved with this to try and help my sister who was at wits end in dealing with Bill as his company has done nothing but cause immense stress on her. The last time Bill came out with a tradesmen for the first time (this was the first time someone actually got up into the ceiling)?? I would think it would be normal protocol when a person who has leaks in their roof to actually get up into the ceiling. .Bill takes no responsibility for the workmanship and all the extra new leaks since his company touched it and no doubt you will hear some of these in his follow up comments on this. Allot of their good reviews are not legitimate. Be very aware and get several quotes with different opinions. They know by quoting under $3300 they can’t be taken through the QBCC complaints process as anything under this amount the QBCC don’t deal with. Bill l uses every excuse under the sun as to why the roof leaks 10 times worse since supposedly repairing it. He has used about 10 different excuses for the extra leaks after taking the money and making it worse. His last excuse was it needs sarking at a cost of $12,000 he said it would cost, mmm. Don’t use this company to try and fix roof leaks as it appears they aren’t very competent at it. They may be better at new roofs but definately do not recommend in roof leaks as also quoted by other reviews on different sites.nnApproximate cost: $2400

Had the pleasure of using Low Cost Roofing to renovate our tiled roof the quote was reasonable and the work was undertaken in a completely professional manner. the team that arrived on site advised us exactly what they were going to do and did exactly as requested. The site was cleaned up daily with all precautions implemented. The task took todays including replacement of tilers and repointing, cleaning and three coats of paint. Huge thanks to Bill and Cherie in the office, Michael and Paul on site, highly recommend this local based Bribie Island business.
