TAVAS Museum

Had the pleasure of visiting this incredible museum over the weekend, what a find !!. Only 40 mins from Brisbane.nFeaturing an amazing collection of WW1 aircraft, all lovingly maintained by Andrew and his dedicated crew of fellow pilots.nAll aircraft on display are actual working machines, flown almost daily, which is a testament to the passion, attention to detail and love shown by the team to these amazing machines.nWe were very fortunate to enjoy a guided tour by Andrew, whose depth of knowledge and passion is evident as he described everything from the very beginnings of mans fascination with flight to the brave, and mostly unheralded, Fighting Aces of Australia during WW1, whilst also describing each aircraft on display.nIts worth visiting just to see the exact replica of The Red Baron Tri-plane, which you may even be lucky enough to see in action !!nGreat day out for all the family.
