World Gym Ashmore

Very good equipment for body building and weightlifting, and cardio. I would say its more bodybuilding orientated gym tho, should work both sides of client, just fitness crowd. I gave it 4 star as the amenities require upgrading, not enough cubicles for the amount of clientele.

Very helpful staff, great music and didn't find it was excessive so can wear headphones if U want. Great facilities, really felt welcomed and enjoyed the yoga class, very clean presentation, lockers showers, GHD and hairdryer for the ladies..lots.of.work out areas so you don't feel too on display..made easy transition for someone like me who has not trained for years to find my own space ... definitely recommend, competitive rates and a free PT session too.

Visiting family on the Gold Coast from Toowoomba. Came here today for a casual visit. I assumed that because I have a current membership at World Gym Toowoomba I would be granted free entry or be subjected a small fee. They charged me $20 for a single visit which I thought was excessive. I was really looking forward to a workout so I coughed up the cash. After gaining entry I immediately noticed how run down the place looked, with old, poorly maintained equipment and damaged flooring and walls. At World Gym Toowoomba, sanitising wipes are provided and members are required to use these to wipe down equipment after each use, (on top of also using a towel). At Ashmore World Gym, there are a couple piles of paper napkins with a nondescript spray bottle of santiser next to them plus a few pump containers of alcohol gel but during my almost 2 hours there today I didn't witness any members or gym staff sanitising equipment between uses. Poor health practice given there is still a current pandemic. Overall the place has a sketchy, apathetic vibe. Would not recommend.
