Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium

Have not been there so why am I getting this.

This is probably the best indoor stadium for freestyle slalom skating. It's always been hard to get skaters into the sport and the 1 million dollar insurance and liability costs many stadiums impose don't help. This place just doesn't have those demands. I was grateful and found I could get 3 hour sessions for under $150. Some of the best months of 2018 were at Runaway Bay. Great place. I only wished they had fans or air con for the climate. And permanent dots for all the cones so I could lay them out as driving from around Brisbane to the Gold Coast and measuring out the marker lines was a real boring chore. Other than that they are highly recommended for people in situations were they have nowhere to do freestyle slalom skating. Advise others to do small hour and a half sessions, advertise them and then increase the duration when you can lock members in for a month to do sessions so you don't have to pay every week.

Great for roller skating lessons...plus, advanced skaters are a joy to watch. Friendly staff.
