ALDI Amaroo

On 16 January 2021, I wanted to buy fresh cat food but it had already expired on 13 January 2021. The cold area for pet food doesn't appear to be particularly cold. The meat had already puffed up from bacteria. Also, why do the guys behind the register always have to walk off and stock shelves while we have to wait at the checkout? You don't want us to pay?

The best of the local Aldis. Big and clean, although the layout is different to most of the others, so it can be a challenge to find some things in a hurry.

Well arranged, good specials. Easy to buy alcohol as the cashier's have a remote button to unlock the cabinet!

I shop at Aldi in Amaroo twice a week. The shop is new. I went there on 22 December 2020 to buy cat food. In previous weeks, the cat food had already expired. Today, the food was so rotten that the fresh meat had already puffed-up in the packaging (see photos). My cats deserve better! Expired by 8 days!nnAfter telling staff of the expired food, they checked for fresh stock. But that had also expired 7 days earlier. Some of the dog food will expire tomorrow. Yuck. To add insult to injury, the store placed marketing pamphlets all over the packing bench. I need room to pack my purchases. Put your brochures elsewhere. One of my bags fell off of the bench because there was no room to put my 5 bags.

The best supermarket in Canberra. The staff here are lovely, some of the nicest people to have a chat with. This store stocks all of my favourite products and they are always available right in front of my very eyes. I live nearby and have never been bothered by the delivery drivers they are always quiet and very courteous. Overall the best supermarket in Canberra I love the specials buys YUM!
