JOHN CONDON BATHROOM RENOVATIONS

Although initially happy with my new ensuite bathroom (full renovation), less than a year on it became apparent that there were huge issues with water leakage/waterproofing failure under the new bathroom, between the waterproofing layers, into the subfloor, with water also flowing under the carpet and underlay in the bedroom. This problem had been going on since the new bathroom renovation and water damage was quite extensive by then. Repairs took longer than a month with incompetency at nearly every level - a tiler was called initially to fix the grout (rather than a plumber to find out the cause of all the water leakage - and there was a lot!), tiled shower area was pulled up (it was the tiler who discovered the plumbing problem), but then they didn't have the tiles to replace, needed to be regrouted twice (as not done properly the first time), new tile laid had a crack in it that needed to be replaced, and then when I finally got to use the shower again, after more than a month, the shower backed up because all of the grouting and waterproofing product during the repairs had gone down the drain, causing a big hard cement blockage! My husband had to fix this himself as they refused to send a plumber. And...well, we still had sogging wet carpet in our bedroom to deal with. Communication is appalling - regardless of whether you ring or email, you are unlikely to get a reply. There's a few other ongoing issues, but it's not like anyone is ever going to get back to me about about it. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Save your time and money.

We have recently had two bathrooms renovated one week one next week the other workmanship was excellent nothing to much trouble.always checked with us if this is where we wanted things .clean and tidy.polite.we had a few issues but they always fixed them to our satisfaction.we are extremely happy with both rooms and would recommend Condons to anyone

John came to our place measured up grave us his ideas, we then went to the show room where we were fortunate to get both John and Helene both where fantastic. From the time the guys started work they where very professional the only one we didn't like and who isn't welcome in our home is Jon the maintenance guy it's like he thinks his better then you and he looks down his nose at you. We've had a couple of small issue we contacted we'd contacted Jon the maintenance guy but he brushed us to one side and said no. So issue was getting worse so I contacted Helene and told her Jon is no longer welcome in our home she contacted John who arranged for a plumber who turned up the next day issue all sorted and we where told this should have been fixed by Jon no issue the plumber ordered the part 2 days later all fixed. Thanks John your very professional just a petty your maintenance guy let's you down

This place does not even deserve one star. They have messed me around for months offering the most pathetic service I have seen. They do not respond to email they force you to come in to the show room before anything further can be done on a weekday when people are at work and after all that they promise you a phone call to arrange a time to come out that was NEVER received! They are not interested in helping anybody they are rude and unresponsive and could care less about their customers. They need some serious lessons in how to run a business because the service I received was pathetic. 1 week after going into the show room I have still received no call, no responses to my emails and will not even provide me any indication of whether or not I will ever receive a phone call. Don't waste your time with this business!
