I heard about this place from a friend who visits the Highlands so a took a trip, so pleased I did. Wonderful quality fabrics at great prices. I needed quality upholstery fabric that looked great and I found an excellent selection. Will be going back.

During the pandemic, I too started the quest of making sourdough bread. I was looking for heavy flax linen to support my baguettes when proofing. I needed a special cloth - couche. I was very pleased to find an Australian supplier which stocked this type of fabric. The dilema came when I needed to decide which one of the two types would be more functional. At night I wrote an email to the Provincial Fabric House with several questions and I had an answer early in the morning, followed by a lenghty phone conversation about both fabrics. Fernanda and Carlos were even testing for me which one will hold the shape better. I was very impressed with their knowledge and passion. I received exceptional old fashion service. It was followed by next day delivery and a lovely hand written note in the parcel. I rang to say thank you for such a dedication and attention to detail. They both were very humble and appreciative. It was very obvious to me that they love what they do. I would like wish the whole team all the very best and many more years of trade.

This is where I go when I am looking for beautiful, quality fabrics at a price I can manage. Warm and welcoming, generous with advice and years of knowledge. I really enjoy my trips to the yurt.
