Kempsey District Hospital

I was an impatient over night at Kempsey. the manner of staff during my whole experience and stay was welcoming informative and as pleasant as it could be. Many thanks to all staff including the ladies at cOVID check in. ud83dudc4fud83dudc4cud83dudc90

My wife went here today for a cataract operation. She was impressed with the efficiency, care, surgery and overall feel of the hospital. Thank you

Waited for a hour 4 people got let in before me and I was there first, all I was there for was to get a covid test knowing that I don’t have it but I needed to get it to go back to work didn’t get it because I felt uncomfortable ended up leaving because no one wanted to see me please make people feel comfortable when they come in it’s not there fault that there sick I work in the fast food industry I know that I don’t have COVID because I feels like a have a normal flu

I can't help thinking this is the perfect place to put a hospital.

Presented to Kempsey emergency today with possible fractured rib. Categorised 4/5 (second lowest) by triage nurse. Waited 4 hours. Nothing. No doctor. No xray. A guy WALKED in AFTER me with a sprained ankle and was categorised 2/5 (second highest). He gets seen by a doctor, treated with soft bandage, and walks out. Doctor goes on a break. Meanwhile I'm still waiting. Someone arrived by ambulance and was categorised 3/5. Less than the guy with a sprained ankle. The system is clearly very broken. I left without any treatment. No one cared.
