Contacted NAB by phone to set up a bank account for my daughter (4 months old). They told me to head into a branch with my daughters birth certificate and Medicare card for ID purposes. I came into Beenleigh NAB today only to be told that I can’t be seen as I don’t have an appointment. I asked why the contact centre didn’t mention I needed to make an appointment and the lady mentioned “they don’t know that we have appointments”. Super unhelpful and rude. - do not recommend!

I attended the Beenleigh branch this morning for a simple request and the lady at the front desk argued with me repeatedly as she wanted me to do it on my phone. If I wanted to do it on my phone I would not have gone into the branch. She questioned and argued with me until I told her she was argumentative, rude and ignorant. She should not be on the front desk with no customer skills. This was not the first time I have had an unpleasant encounter with her.nAfter reading the other reviews I hope action is taken soon as the majority of them are not favourable. A written response on here and no action means nothing and if it was my business I would be doing something about it. I have had an account at this branch for over 18 years and have never dealt with anyone so rude.

No acknowledgement, no greetings, staff are grumpy. Will not return to this branch, it's okay to let the customers wait but at least put a smile on your face when you are looking at customers. Poor customer service.
