Anytime Fitness

I went in a few days ago with the intent of joining on the day. Didn’t expect the “owner” of the franchise to be so unhelpful and average. My partner and I were looking for a local gym that was also affordable and convenient. The best deal the lady could give us was a free joining fee for only one person. Oddly enough, another franchise was offering free joining fee per person. It’s also silly that the weekly membership rates change depending on which franchise you go to - this is more of a comment on the overall company structure. No tour or trial was offered. Wouldn’t let me sign up until my partner was physically with me, fair enough I guess. Basically my partner and I went to a competitor nearby that opened recently and joined on the day (halved membership cost, no lock in contract, greater capacity, readily available and modern equipment, extra facilities, and most importantly friendly and engaging customer service).

Facilities and staff are great. But if you are like me and make impulsive decision and not very savvy with budgeting this is not the gym for you. They have lock in contracts that last a long time that are inflexible. I recommend going to a smaller gym without the lock in contracts.

I had a bad experience dealing with them. Wouldn’t recommend.

Comfy gym, good equipment, well spaced out, easy to join, parking easy, even got an Aldi outside to top up on some food after a work out

I felt comfortable from the moment I walked into this gym. Super friendly staff who clearly care about their members, and a clean well maintained space. I didn't see the gym prior to its recent renovation, but the facelift has obviously been well executed by the new owners. Plenty of machines, weights, benches... but not overcrowded, and I had no trouble going through my full post workout stretching routine without feeling like I would be stepped on! I'm so impressed and only wish I lived closer so I could go to this AF every day.
