Edge Health Club

Great gym and love that it's so well equipped that you almost never need to wait for machines. My only qualm is that the group fitness classes start at 5pm - I work in the Centre and I cannot make these classes, let alone someone who works away and has to travel. 5.15 starts would be more practical, as a mum like me could do a 515 half hour Functional class and get to daycare to collect babies by 6. Apart from this, it's amazing..

I rarely write reviews but when I do it's because I've had a really bad experience. I've been coming to this gyms for years whenever I come back up to Darwin. Sure, ownership changes, facilities change but one thing is for certain, good customer service should never change. I had joined up for 4 week membership and used it once because I had no time until the last week to come to the gym as I was finishing up my employment in the University sector, due to COVID-19. I had no remorse or understanding from the administrator whatsoever. I was trying to say to her, I basically forfeited 3 weeks of my membership at my expense (I paid $150 all up and only used it for one day) but she had NO REMORSE for my personal situation. She even asked me to pay for a class $10 because I turned up just outside of my membership, which let me stress, I ONLY USED ONCE!!!! I've been to other gyms where they honoured my entry and even provide me with a free trial before signing up. I'm sorry Edge fitness, this has left a bad taste in my mouth I'll be taking my business somewhere else to someone who is keen to retain their customers and keep them happy.

Been a member at Edge for 3 years and have really enjoyed it. It is a great club that strive to provide a huge range of equipment, classes and space to safely and hygienically be able to work out, and feel safe and supported whilst doing so. Thanks to Simon and the other friendly staff for providing and maintaining a great service.

If you're in Darwin and live close by to the northern suburbs, don't look for another gym. Enjoyed my time here for over 4 years before moving interstate 💯💪.
