Sophisticated Bridal Alterations

I came here in Dec within a week to my wedding to get my wedding gown altered. I was worried it won't be done in time and also worried that alterations for what i need is not possible. But Anne was professional and she altered it in time for my wedding and it fits beautifully. She also got it dry clean for my convenience. I was happy with the outcome.nOnly thing is that its quite expensive as expected for wedding gown alterations.nThe stall is small and change room is dark and a bit warm.nAnne is very friendly and warm.nOverall good experience.

Absolutely Mortified!nPurchased a dress that needed taking in.nAnne the owner showed me to a cubical to change into the dress. Whilst changing she snapped at her husband a few times over an order he couldn’t find & in such a shameful manner, it was embarrassing to overhear & very uncomfortable for him. Afterwards Anne came into cubical & before she started to pin she demanded $100 now and not after job, now! not card either cash! I said ok hesitantly and Anne proceeded with pinning where it needed altering. Within minutes she started snapping, grabbing my arm and pushed it down as I tried to show her where it needed pinning & at one point refused to pin around the neck line as she said in her own words. “I refuse to do that, it not look nice & it look ugly”. Then tapped me on the shoulder and said “you wait here 5 minute”, while she continued to serve customers. On three occasions she left to attend to customers leaving me to stand there after each time she snapped at me. After coming back to cubical on the third occasion I said enough! Your giving me anxiety, I don’t feel comfortable with your treatment towards me, I don’t like the way you are talking to me with such aggression I’m leaving..... yeah go go go she snapped back. As I changed back into my clothes she whispered to a waiting customer in the cubicle next door “she so rude, I have many customers I do wedding dress for”. I couldn’t believe it! Anne had no shame in her behaviour.nI couldn’t help thinking my dress isn’t a wedding dress its a going out dress to be warn out over the weekend. I couldn’t get out of that cubical quick enough as I was being shamed by Anne to a customer in cubical next door. Imagine standing stark naked trying to put your bra back on, shirt & skirt in the middle of shopping centre to overhear Anne making fun off you. I did speak out and say “I can hear you” ! With feeling Absolutely mortifiednI drove to Coventry Markets Alterations across the road and was treated with sheer kindness & the alteration ended up being $40.00 & can pay by card & no demands for cash.nBE AWARE OF THE OWNER HAS A NASTY STREAK! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE NEVER AGAIN!

The WORST CUSTOMER service EVER. They made a mistake and didn't do what I asked on a very simple alteration. When I explained what was wrong the lady starts yelling at me in front of everyone as if it was my fault, I was so embarrassed. She tried to tell me she did exactly what she did last time but how could she, .... I'VE NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE! Then she tries to get me to pay extra to fix her mistake. They are also very expensive DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!! Be warned!!

Have had both my daughters ball dresses altered a few years ago & just recently. Really pleased with the result it fits like a glove.nThanks Anne

Absolutely wonderful. I got my wedding dress altered here and she did an amazing job. And very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back and 100% recommend.
