Very small inside with prices you expect. Bought a can of coke and was barely cold. Good if you need some basics.

Honestly how disappointing.... I travelled a kilometre to the IGA express in Burrill lake instead of going to Woolworths and it cost me time and money.... First of all upon entering the majority of the lights are off I to save money.... The lights in the fridges were also off so you could not tell if the fridge is actually on or properly visualise the goods.... 95% of the available products are either overpriced or not ever on sale....large rockets advertised prices under the illusion they are on sale but it's just the standard price no avocados fairly in the fresh fruit and vegetables limited fresh meat and no cash out of the counter as there's not enough in the till.... You have to use the ATM and pay $2.75 to withdraw cash of a maximum $100 at a time...independently owned so even if you contact head office and the area manager visits and makes recommendations it's up to the owner to apply them and theres no guarantee that that would happen as metcash has no control over prices.... Bought 9 standard items ham milk bread cheese juice chocolate hot chicken yoghurt ice cream for a cost of $48....ridiculous....don't shop here unless you buy one single convenient item that you need....I understand the need for locals to keep it local and support their local business but at the same time overcharging isn't helping anyone.

If you need to pick up anything while your on holidays at Burill lake the little IGA is a great place to pick up those bits and bobs, open everyday through the Easter long weekend and has just about everything you need, the service is good and the prices are on the higher side than my local IGA up in Sydney, but next door to a caravan park and no other supermarkets nearby you can’t beat the convenience of a local IGA.nThis is our go to place for all those little extras and things you run out of on holidays also we like to support the local businesses.
