Pandanus on Litchfield

We were visiting friends and had dinner there. Very yummy fish and chips.

We booked cabin 5 and 6 the other day. First thing we noticed was that the pool was not fenced (with little kids that can't swim a no go and I thought in Australia that's illegal). Plus it looked milky dirty. Then the owner could barely open the glass door it was so stuck. There was lots of water in front of the toilet, there was no TV even though it was advertised. Cabin 5 had a TV but wasn't working. We decided to eat at their restaurant. There was spiderwebs everywhere, especially at the toilet. A lady was doing ironing next to us and the guy was watching TV on the lounge next to us. We felt uncomfortable like we were sitting in their lounge room. The exit lights weren't working. Over all, the guy was nice, but we didn't feel very welcomed and comfy. We will not stay there again, it definitely needs some work done!

This place is filthy! Our room had stains & mould in the sink (many cracks), anything which had fabric was badly stained eg the cushions, curtains and only chair, there were many cobwebs and the floor had bugs. The place is old, cheaply built & rundown.nI could not recommend this place.

Rundown cabins in a caravan park. Needs a lot of maintenance. Also cobwebs and lots of insects in the rooms

we stayed one night in a cabin. I feel bad to say that but I think the couple managing this place should stop doing it. Everything is old, not so clean and not well maintained. Another thing weird, there is no fence around the pool, I'm not sure it's legal and safe for the kids.nAt the reception when we arrived, the lady was a bit rude, not welcoming, probably because she received some bad comments but this is normal, I feel they don't try to improve the place. A lot of spiders everywhere and the cabin was pretty dirty, outdated, the air-conditioning pretty old and dirty. We were not feeling comfortable to sleep there (a bit anxious). The photos attached shows why we decided to put this review.nIt's a good location for Litchfield Park.
