I've been receiving treatment for various injuries and inflammation from Sportsmed for 5 years and couldn't recommend them enough. I've seen 1 sports doctor and 3 physios for different injuries over the years, and all show knowledge, care and experience. Owen Threadgold, who I am currently seeing and have been for a year is thorough, considers your stress levels, sleep, and other factors for a holistic approach to pain and injury, and I come from every appointment feeling positive and with a variety of practical steps to alleviate pain and move forward in my treatments and flare ups. Chronic pain can be difficult, and it's easy to be disheartened and hopeless.. but every time I see Owen I honestly feel hopeful again, knowing that there are always things I can do to work on decreasing my pain, and to not give up! Sometimes it's a little busy so waiting times can vary, however this is not an issue for me (waiting is normal in a busy practice no matter where or what it is!). Again, couldn't recommend them enough!

Highly recommended Sports Med Subiaco. Dr Alex Strahan is very knowledgeable. I've had cortisone injections for joint inflammation by him on many occasions and he does a great job. The physios are very good here too!

I have contacted this clinic 6 separate times to have a form filled in relating to a sports injury sustained at a sports centre to be able to claim back my $500+ bill on the sports centres private insurance, but they haven't gotten back to me and it's been a whole year. Thanks a lot clinic for costing me a fortune which is covered by insurance, but because of the clinics incompetence I cannot make the claim.

I have been going to this clinic for physio and Pilates for 8 years and have always had very professional reception and treatment. Recenly, I had a problem that had been troubling me for 5 years. I went to a Occ Therapist and another (gasp!) physio clinic. Both helped me to a small degree but after biting the bullet and going back to Subi (I now live 45 mins away), physio, Michael Devine took the time to work out exactly what the problem was and how to treat it. With dry needling and daily exercises I am now mostly pain- free. I'm so pleased and relieved! Thank you so much!
