As a person who has been brought up to trust people first until they proved to be untrustworthy, I realised there are people and businesses whose interests are to take advantage of people like me.nnMy garage door was playing up, couple of days ago, which made me to suspect the mortar was on the way out. So, I made contact to one of the largest garage manufacturering companies here in Western located in Wangara. A technician was sent to scope the job. Literally in less than a minute, after pressing the reset button on the mortar , he said I need a new mortar.nnAnd because I know little about garage doors' machenism, I believed him. The Technician said the mortar usually costs 800 Dollars but he is happy to offer it for 650 Dollars, including 2 remotes, but I must pay before hand.nnI remarked, saying, I can pay 500 Dollars then pay the balance after the job has been completed. He consulted the office and office infomed him, they don't have such arrangements. I suggested for them to do the job the following day then as I am need to make few calls.nnI got in contact with Swan Garage Doors.nnOrganised time with them a Technician was sent the following day. He assessed the Mortar and found that that, there was nothing wrong with the mortar . He just reset. He also serviced the garage and provided us 2 remotes for a grand total of 209 Dollars. Payment was made post the job.
