Used to love coming here to quickly grab veges and something to make for dinner. It is way to expensive now. Cooked chicken $12, Cucumber $3 or 2 for 4. The tiny packaged salads $6 The new owner has turned the place into a miniature super market grrr

The meat section is no where near as good as it used to be, all meat is now prepackaged and no longer from a butcher inside the store. Meat isn't as fresh anymore, I bought chicken a couple days ago and it smelt kinda weird, ended up having to give it to the dog. Bit sad to see it have such a downgrade but at least the veggie section looks nicer

Friendly staff always smiling, so there best in the deli with the lovely hot meals they provide, wish they do the chicken and chirezo sausage past bake more often add some peas or cauliflower. :) the only thing iga stores don’t have are self service machines so line ups can be a hassle, got a big enough area to do self serve area security boom posts in security video machines like Woolworth, out with the old in with the new

I have shopped at IGA Belvidere for over 20 years. The meat was a great price and quality. I used to be able to get 4 Bulk Scotch for 16-22 dollarsn(palm-ish size perfect for families) Well not anymore. The prices have increased. I think the demographic of this area has been missed. I usually support local business but it looks like I wont be buying meat from here anymore.
