Coles Edwardstown

This is my local Coles shop. It's decently sized with enough range to satisfy most people. The store layout is easy to navigate but can become to feel very narrow to walk through with a trolley during the busy peak hours of shopping. They also seem to suffer just like every other store with what appears to be a lack of workers as checkout lines get really long and some times shelves are in dire need of being replenished.

Good service

Not a bad Coles. A good size. However, they have this high pitched screaming sound coming from their fridges and they don't seem to want to do anything about it. As a trained audio engineer, I would say the volume of the sound is enough to cause permanent hearing damage to workers, albeit in the very high frequency range. For customers, like myself, that can hear high frequencies, it is extremely uncomfortable. If they fixed that, I'd give them 5 stars.

Always clean and tidy. Staff always ready to assist with enquiries re stock and location of same. Can never understand why people who use express lane with many many items are not spoken to by staff re the 12 items max. It is a pain when you are there with 2 items and have to wait, wait, wait. Apart from that it is always nice to shop in such a clean and friendly environment.

Easy access abilities for wheelchairs and walkers helpful smiling staff friendly locals all in all a good shopping experience
