The Cavenagh Hotel

The room is good size, but the bed is not good. 2 beds put together and one side is completely different of another. Me and my boyfriend struggled a lot. Excellent food and great staff. Very noisy and more for a party style hotel don't recommend if you want a calm place to relax

My Local Hot Spot! I have had next to everything on the menu from breakfast, lunch and dinner and I have loved every bite! Steak nights are a must and make sure you book in advance. Entertainment here is always rocking with local soloist, duos or groups performing classics and contemporary music. Finally the staff here are some of the friendliest and most welcoming you can find in Darwin!

If you are staying in Darwin, this is the place to be! It’s slightly more expensive than the hostels but HEAPS better in every way. The food was good and reasonably priced, only a short walk to the waterfront, and always filled with locals and visitors alike. If that wasn’t enough, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs making us feel right at home. Thank you!

I came to the Cavenagh with 5 of my friends on a reservation. Their food was brought to them and it took a further 30-40 minutes for my food to be ready, despite me inquiring twice as to its whereabouts. My friends had since finished their food and were making plans to leave. I wasn't happy with the service I received from the man I dealt with at the till. The food looked tasty, it's a pity the poor service and organisation ensured I didn't taste it.

Excellent service friendly staff. Great music and great location for getting around Darwin.
